Some brides have a strong vision for their wedding before they even get on the phone with a wedding planner. This was definitely the case with Lauren, and she wanted vintage, vintage, vintage. That’s exactly what we gave her at her beautiful Ocean Key Resort wedding in April. She and her girls got gorgeous with Studio Marie-Pierre before the ceremony.
It was a perfect day for a Key West destination wedding on the pier. The arch and flowers designed by Simply Unique was simply beautiful.
The vintage theme extended to the wedding bouquets. Each girl had a unique bouquet filled with simple, delicate blossoms. We absolutely loved that idea! Rachel E. Ligon Photography captured some beautiful moments.
When it came time to toast the lovely couple, they opted for shots instead of flutes of champagne. They also created stations for dinner, so the party was lively all night long. This, of course, was helped by the musical stylings of Soundwave DJ.
We loved Lauren’s interpretation on a guest book with a vintage typewriter for guests to type their messages. The baby’s breath in a mason jar next to it? A fabulous vintage touch! For late night snacking, everyone enjoyed a candy table, as well as cotton candy spun from a vintage machine. Key West Cakes created sumptuous cupcakes in place of a traditional wedding cake. The party ended in true style with the Caribbean Queen Junkanoo Band leading the everyone to Duval Street in a raucous parade. Congratulations Lauren & Sterling!
