Vanessa and Phil had a romantic seaside-themed wedding at Sunset Key. This private island just west of Key West, and only accessible by ferry, is a wonderful venue for a destination wedding. If you look closely in the picture above, you’ll see a rainbow behind the couple. We were challenged with rain showers on their wedding day, but made due with a quick move indoors for the ceremony. The couple went with the flow like champs and we were treated with a cloud break in time for these gorgeous photos! Vanessa’s beautiful hair and makeup are thanks to the talented Studio Marie-Pierre.
Vanessa really has a knack for design and she orchestrated all of the handmade seaside decor elements for her big day, including the signs above, water bottles, lollipops, and parasols. The wedding took place in a private 3-bedroom cottage with flowers by Milan Event, and it was incredibly intimate and special. Darryl Robinson officiated the ceremony.
The reception was fabulous with freshly caught whole fish on the menu.
The wedding cake created by Key West Cakes was superb. I adored the marine theme with starfishes, and especially their seahorse cake topper! Their friend took the turntables as their personal DJ and everyone danced the night away!
Congratulations to you both on a beautiful wedding and a new life together!
