First of all, how much do you LOVE Rori’s “something blue” shoes and her tea-length reception dress? And how about Paul’s handsome military slacks? The couple encapsulates beauty and brawn. Both Rori and Paul are Army officers who were stationed in Germany while planning their Key West wedding. Communicating almost exclusively via telephone conversations and emails, Megan managed to plan a traditional military wedding in paradise. Seventy of their closest friends and family from all over the world were in attendance on their big day.
They were married inside Grace Lutheran Church before its magnificent stained glass windows with a reception to follow at the Sunset Lounge located on the Sigsbee Military Base.
Notice Rori’s full-length reception gown leaving the church. Earlier that day, Studio Marie-Pierre put the finishing touches on her classic look with hair and makeup.
The couple opted for BBQ-themed cuisine with a Key West island twist serving up sliders and a whole roasted pig. As you can see, they cut the cake (from Croissants de France) with Paul’s sword, and Studio Julie captured a great moment in the photo above. Milan Events put together the gorgeous floral arrangements and DJ Jimmy Jamz kept the revelers on their feet!
Congratulations to Rori and Paul! It was an honor planning your big day. For more pictures of this wedding, visit Studio Julie’s Blog here.
