In Key West, we have so many amazing venues for destination weddings. The idea of getting married on our little island is seductive for many. The idea of getting married on a private island across Key West Harbor accessible only by boat? That’s a downright fantasy. Well, that’s exactly what a wedding on the beach at Sunset Key offers. And for Priscilla and David, it was the locale for the destination wedding of their dreams.
Priscilla spent the morning getting gorgeous with Studio Marie-Pierre. Fury Water Adventures shuttled the party across the harbor with entertainment from Roberto deBourg & The Flats Band. The beach was set up beautifully with gorgeous flowers and decor from Milan Event and party rentals from Eventfully Yours. Steve Torrence officiated the ceremony.
After the ceremony, everyone hopped back aboard the Fury and sailed to the Westin Resort’s Sunset Deck overlooking Key West Harbor. The reception was beautiful with great attention to detail. They had a basket of flip flops for the guests encouraging them to kick off their shoes and dance! There were party favors customized for guys and girls, and special ornaments marked the table seating. Swankey even helped coordinate custom linens for Priscilla and David.
The party was high energy with more great music from Roberto & the Flats. Key West Cakes created a gorgeous wedding cake and CineaVerde was on the scene capturing all the fun for their wedding video. Studio Julie was behind the lens for these gorgeous pictures. For more pictures from Priscilla and David’s wedding, click here.
Congratulations Priscilla and David. It was a pleasure being a part of your Key West private island destination wedding!
